There is no application fee to apply to Composit 2017.  The postmark deadline for all applications is February 5th 2017. Accepted candidates will be notified via email by the end of February 2017.

Composition Program Submission Requirements:

  • application form
  • resume and cover letter, specifying the desire to be considered or not for the Composer’s Colloquia special topics
  • 2  works (scores and recording if available) of recent works for solo and chamber music.

Sound Augmented – Live Electronics and Sound Installation Program Submission Requirements:

  • application form
  • resume and cover letter that includes topics of interests and/or a proposal for a project/piece  to develop during your residency.
    Projects may include but not limited to:

    –  writing a piece for instruments & live electronics (describe the live electronics set-up).
    –  “traditional” instrument, augmented with electronics (by all means, come with your instrument if a performer).
    – composing a fixed-media (tape) piece
    – realizing a sound installation
